ALIVE Centre was established in 2005 to provide inclusive and holistic services in Liverpool. Over the years, we continue to develop appropriate and effective services that respond to the needs of people without discrimination with respect to age, race, political, religious sex or sexual orientation.

Our main aim is to respond to the local and global call objective of eradicating ignorance around health care delivery so that everyone in our community will have access to basic health facilities. We approach this task by developing new strategies in Health Promotion Events, and Research into Local Health Solutions/Alternatives. We also identify and signpost members of the community to relevant services across the country as enumerated here and in the “QUICK” link below.

ALIVE Centre is a social inclusion service supporting people facing different levels of disadvantages in health and social care.  Our main aim is to support vulnerable people from across communities including low income families, Asylum Seekers and refugees, BAME population, and New Migrants, to be better connected to health and wellbeing services, social care providers, and community organisations to ultimately encourage better integration and improved community cohesion.

We support people to:

  • Gain confidence to access community activities and become socially integrated
  • Overcome loneliness and isolation
  • Improve their knowledge of common health conditions
  • Access services that are available to support health and wellbeing
  • Gain social and employability skills
  • Find information on community or local groups and activities
